Preschool is a great opportunity for your little one to learn. Helping a kid understand what's happening will help prevent tantrums on first day of school so he can actually go to school on that day without throwing a fit.

The entrance alone can be overwhelming to a child since it is unfamiliar territory, but letting him get used to it will help calm him down. Letting your kid warm up to the preschool will also give you time to get to know his teacher and the common activities and routines that they have.
